- All-purpose flour: 2 cups
- Icing sugar: 1 cup
- Cocoa powder: ¼ cup
- Baking powder: ½ tablespoon
- salt : ½ teaspoon
- Oil: ¼ cup
- Egg: 1
- Water: ¼ cup
- Milk: as required
- Vanilla essence: ½ teaspoon
Steps to follow:
- In a bowl add all the ingredients and make a batter.
- Grease the pan and dust it with all purpose flour too.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes on medium flame.
- Then use a tooth pick to check if the cake is ready.
- If the tooth pick is clean then the cake is ready to serve.
